Band Trips
It is a privelege to travel on a band trip, all students are expected to conduct themselves in a responsible manner and adhere to all Code of Conduct rules on all band trips.
Disney
Disney World trips occur on odd numbered years for all band members in early June. A commitment sheet will be sent out with more information on the trip in early September of the school year prior to our trip. A due date for a deposit and payment schedule will be given in that sheet. We cannot travel without at least 1 parent chaperone for every 10 students. We also will not travel unless the group is representative of our program in instrumentation. For more information/required forms/contact info click on the link to the left.
IMEA
The mission of the Illinois Music Educators Association is to promote lifelong music learning and to provide leadership for music education.
The IMEA sponsors and organizes performance festival opportunities for the student musicians of Illinois.
The IMEA provides professional growth opportunities for the music educators of Illinois.
The IMEA remains current regarding emerging issues in the music profession and disseminates that information to the music education community.
The IMEA promotes and supports music as a vital component in the complete education of every child.
